Willie Lawrence Adkins, 88, of Hunter, died Monday, October 16, at McDowell Appalachian Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 19, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
Rutherford Burchard Clark, Jr., 85, of Harold,
died Friday, October 13, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He is survived by his
wife, Thelma Louise Newsom Clark. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 15,
under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
Bill Conn, 82, of Bremerton, Washington, a Printer native, died
Wednesday, September 6, at his home. Interment for both he and his wife, who
died May 2, 2005, took place at Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery, in Kent,
Washington, on October 6.
Elmo (Boe) Endicott Sr., 58, of Salem, Ohio, died Saturday,
October 14, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Linda Star (Willard)
Endicott. Burial was in Historic Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Stark
Memorial.
Sola Crum Frasure, 63, of Martin, died Wednesday, October 18, at
her residence. She is survived by her husband, Gene Randell Frasure. Funeral
services were conducted Friday, October 20, under the direction of Hall Funeral
Home.
Lillie Little, 94, of Wheelwright, died Saturday, October 14, in
the St. Mary's Living Center. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, October

Helen Irene McKenzie, 85, of Auxier, died Thursday, October 5, at

Dorcus Music, 89, of Prestonsburg, died Tuesday, October 10, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg. Funeral services were conducted

Georgia “Pat” Naylor, 71, of Harold, died Friday, October 13, at

Billie Faye Collins, 66, of Martin, died Saturday, September 23, at her

Rev. Charles Hughes, 82, of Silver Lake, Indiana, a Prestonsburg native,
died Friday, September 22, at St. Joseph Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Funeral

James Rodney Johnson, 59, of McDowell, died Sunday, September 24, in the
McDowell Appalachian Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Donna Faye
Cook Johnson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 27, under the

Dickie Martin, 67, of Somerset, formerly of Garrett, died Friday,
September 22, at Lake Cumberland Hospital, in Somerset. He is survived by his
wife, Doris Childers Martin. Funeral services were held Sunday, September 24,

Laura Clark Robinette, 57, of Harold, died Wednesday, September 27, at
the University of Kentucky Medical Center, in Lexington. She is survived by her

Ida Mae Younce, 75, of Melvin, died Wednesday, September 27, in

Robert Lee Boyd, 78, of Emma, died Sunday, September 17,
at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. He is survived by his wife, Anna
Mae Burchett Boyd. Funeral services were held Wednesday September 20, under the

Jeanette Waddle Fournier, granddaughter of the late Katherine Stratton of
Floyd County, died September 1, while carrying out a humanitarian mission in
Senegal, Africa, when the International Red Cross vehicle in which she was
riding hit a roadside explosive device. She is survived by her husband, Henry
Fournier. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 9, in Veysonnaz
Switzerland.
Thomas Hackworth, 70, of Martin, died Friday, September 15, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center, in Prestonsburg. He is survived by his wife, Janice
Conn Hackworth. Funeral services were held Monday, September 18, under the
direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home.
Bessie Irene Jacobs, 72, of Martin, died Sunday, September 17, at the
Riverview Health Care Center, Prestonsburg. Funeral services were held

Dennis “Jim” Martin, 72, of Langley, formerly of Minnie, died Saturday,
September 16, at Our Lady of the Way Hospital, Martin. He is survived by his
wife, Laura “Jeanene” Martin. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 19,

Edwin V. McComas, 80, of Sandusky, Ohio, a Floyd County native, were held
Tuesday, September 19, at First Christian Church, Sandusky. He is survived by
his wife, Marianne Wilson McComas. Entombment was in Meadow Green Memorial Park,
Huron, Ohio.
Erma L. (Triplett) Nemmers, 72, of Pittsburg, Kansas, died Friday,
September 8, 2006. She was born July 26, 1934, in Wayland. She was a sister to
Pauline Turner of Wayland, Wayne Triplett of Sebring, Florida, and Charles
Triplett of St. George, Utah. Funeral services were held Monday, September 11,
at 2 p.m., at the Bedene Chapel, in Arma, Kansas, with Reverend Don Foster
officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories, in Pittsburg, Kansas, under
the direction of Bedene Funeral Home, Arma, Kansas. Casketbearers were: Daniel
Yarnell, Randy Yarnell, David Kralicek, Matthew Blunt, Colton Morris, and Dennis
Bedene. Honorary casketbearers were: Dallas Hendricks, Joel Merando, and Rich
Vinze.

Novella (Belle) Spears, 65, of Harold, died Saturday, September 16, at

Northern, died Sunday, August 20, at the Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation

Lee Edward Allen, 74, of Allen, died Saturday, August 19, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center, in Prestonsburg. He is survived by his wife, Mary
Magaline (Maggie) Sweeney Allen. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 22,
